Positioned on the 8th floor of The Fullerton Hotel, we took the lift from the lobby to Level 8 and then took another "private" lift which only serves The Lighthouse. In between the Level 8 of the hotel and Level L (The Lighthouse), there's Level M where you have to go to if you need to use the washrooms.
We received warm greetings from the receptionist and he graciously ushered us to our table in the middle of the restaurant. A pity that our seat was not next to the window overlooking the Marina Bay (MBS, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, etc).

We ordered a Tartufo Bianco Degustation Set Menu (Truffle Indulgence Menu) at $148++, Spaghetti All'Astice (a la carte) at $38++ and 2 Glasses of Italian White Wines - La Tunella Sauvignon Blanc, 'Colli Orientali', Friuli, Italy 2012 at $23++ each.

|Uova Stapazzata In Guscio Con Tarfuto D'Alba (Scramble Egg, Fresh Alba White Truffle)|
First up, Scrambled Egg with Fresh Alba White Truffle. How adorable it was to find scrambled egg inside it's shell! Not that easy to eat as I had to hold the shell so that I could scoop the egg. The dish was nice with a tinge of truffle but not outstanding.

|Asparagi Alla Milanese, Con Uovo Cotto A 45 Gradi (Asparagus Milanese, 45°C Organic Egg, Fresh Truffle)|
Second course - Asparagus Milanese with 45°C Organic Egg sprinkled with Fresh Truffle and Hollandaise Sauce at the side. OMNOMNOM! This innocent looking dish was excellent! Hollandaise Sauce + Egg + Truffle, oh my....
|Taglierini Al Tartufo (Truffle Taglierini)|
Third Course - Truffle Taglierini. Initially I wanted to order this pasta as a la carte main ($58++) but I really wanted to try everything truffle so I chose to have the set dinner. The pasta was alright on the first bite as I did not mix the sauce well with the taglierini. After mixing, it tasted richer and satisfying. I would recommend you to fill up your spoon so that you can taste it better.

My BF liked his Lobster Pasta. I am not a fan of lobster and it's family, particularly prawn so I didn't try his dish. He said that the lobster was very fresh and good.

Hmm, my main dish was a little bit disappointing as the Wagyu Beef was a tad too dry for my liking. The beef I had on my birthday dinner at Pollen was much better. Nevertheless, thankful for the truffle, mushrooms and especially the potato underneath which was superb, they totally saved the grace of the entire main dish. There were 2 choices for main dish under the set menu. Maybe it would be better if I picked the other one - Baked Cod Fish, Saffron Potatoes, Carta Fata Fresh Truffle.

Our dessert took a while to arrive as there were quite a few tables being filled by new customers after we completed our mains. TRUFFLE LOVERS, YOU GOT TO TRY THIS. The truffle ice-cream was so yummy! The fragrance and texture was unforgettable. Mix it with the chocolate lava cake - you are in heaven.
The ambience was remarkably marvelous that we did not keep track of the time and it was already 9.30pm (2 hours) when we finished our dessert! We got a feedback form after we billed and I did fill it up suggesting that the beef could be better, also I love the truffle themed idea. They served us a complimentary plate with White and Dark chocolates. Oh they were so tasty! Thank you!

Overall, it was a great experience dining at The Lighthouse Restaurant. If you want have a beer or some alcohol after your dinner, you could go up to their rooftop bar which oversees the beautiful Marina Bay view of Singapore.
