Hong Kong Day 3 (24-26 May 2013)

Last day in Hong Kong!! I miss Singapore even though it's only the third day out. My brother and I packed our stuffs and checked out of the hotel by 11am. Thank you Caritas Bianchi Lodge for the good service and clean room. I took a photo of my outfit of the day in the hotel's toilet before I checked out.

I just found out yesterday that Pierre Hermé was opened in Hong Kong at IFC Mall on 25 May 2013!! Yippee!! I'm a fan of Macarons and will never miss out a chance to try new brands! In Hong Kong, there's City check in for flights at Hong Kong Station and Kowloon Station, so that tourists can spend the rest of the day shopping without their luggage. Hence, we checked in our luggage and collected our Air Tickets at Hong Kong Station. =)

HKD 210 for a box of 7 macarons!!! Ahhhh, so expensive!!! It's approximately SGD 5 for ONE MACARON! *faint*

We headed to Tim Ho Wan again to bring out the delicious Char Siew Bun for our family. ^^
Still so many people today, sigh~

Earl Grey Macaron - Not bad
There're a few hours left before our flight, so we headed to Tung Chung for Citygate Outlets. The MTR was so empty at Tung Chung line! I snapped pictures of the train, the packaging of Pierre Hermé and views from the train's window on the way there.

Almost empty train

Arrival at Tung Chung MTR Station.

We were so famished and headed to Food Republic for lunch!!

Portuguese Pork Chop Baked Rice
The macau stall in Food Republic was so bad. This was the worse meal in Hong Kong so far. Okay, forget about the lousy meal. Let the shopping spree begin!!!

Coach Outlet is so cheap in HK!

Cute Coach Tag for luggage deposit
After purchasing items from Coach and Club 21, my stomach needed some replenishment. Since, there isn't much choices for food in the mall, we went to Mcdonald's again!! Wheee to White Burger!!

Yummilicious White Burger
It's time to go to the airport. We took Tung Chung line from Tung Chung MTR to Tsing Yi MTR and then changed to Airport Express from Tsing Yi to Airport. Clearing immigration is so troublesome as you have to queue to get clearance... Nevertheless, we gotta have our last meal in Hong Kong before flying off!

Char Siew is delicious

Egg Tarts - so so only

Chee Cheong Fun
Met some of my colleagues at the gate as we were on the same flight back to Singapore. A lot of people that I know flocked to Hong Kong for this long weekend!

Bringing Pierre Hermé macarons and Tim Ho Wan Char Siew buns back to Singapore. The flight back was fast and seamless. Thank you Tiger Airways for the good flight experience. I've flown with them the 9th times. =)

My boyfriend was waiting for me at T2 arrival. Thanks for fetching me and my brother home from the airport!! Some macarons for you!! ^^

Can't wait for the next trip in the near future!! No, I have not plan anything yet. Travel while you are young and don't regret it when you are old!! Goodbye!

Hong Kong Day 2 (24-26 May 2013)

Breakfast was provided by the Hotel at Level 6, CBL Restaurant, in buffet style.

It was raining cats and dogs (so primary school) outside and we delayed our schedule by 1-2hours as we were waiting for the rain to cease.

However, it just couldn't stop raining, we have no choice but to get out of the hotel and used umbrella to shelter ourselves to the MTR. We were supposed to go to Sham Shui Po, but since it was raining quite heavily, we headed to Mongkok's Langham Place instead.
Before crossing the road to Yau Ma Tei MTR

Me at Langham Place in Mongkok
I was so excited to see H&M and headed straight to the shop to begin my shopping spree! The clothes are 'newer' than Singapore and some of them are having summer sales already! HKD 59 per piece!

Due to the drastic rain, we had to eat in the mall. After searching for awhile to find a decent place with cheap prices, we gave up and headed to Mcdonald's to try their Black burger and White burger.

Mcdonald's Black & White Burgers Meals with Pearl Milk Tea!!!
The black burger is not bad, but the WHITE BURGER IS THE BOMB!!! It was so yummy!! Oh!! Don't forget about the pearl milk tea! Milk tea was nice and the pearls (black and white pearls) were chewy as well! Didn't expect Mcdonald's to have such a good standard for bubble tea!! Happy happy meal for lunch!

Finally the rain decided to take a break which gave us the chance to explore the streets outside the mall. :)
Spotted a sexy Ferrari in red

Super crowded....

Yummy!! Tastes like Waffles!

Refreshing drink from 'Comebuy'
Seeing that the clouds seemed to clear off by the afternoon, we decided to head to the famous attraction - The Peak. The walk from the Central MTR station to the peak was not very short but the views of the busy city kept us occupied.

The Peak Tram

1 HOUR?!
Looking at how LONGGGG the queue was, I decided to give it a miss and come back again next time when I visit Hong Kong. Thus, it's time to go find the rubber duck!!

Very nice trams!

SUPER CROWDED at Tsim Sha Tsui

Oh hello there Mr. Ducky!

Zoomed in view

Me with the cute solid ducky

Ahhhhh the city view from Harbour Centre is STILL SOOOO AWESOME!!
Cannot stand the crowd -.- A friend of mine recommended me to a restaurant called Australia Dairy Company 澳洲牛奶公司 at Jordan, where they serve all-day breakfast.

My experience and happiness level in Hong Kong was great UNTIL I STEPPED INTO THIS RESTAURANT. The waiters were so IMPATIENT AND RUDE. The guy who served me raised his voice as I didn't answer his question BECAUSE I was asking another question, in Cantonese. Mind you, you are serving customers who DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING and you have no right to raise your voice at them. The food was not that great and the meal costed SGD 10+. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. My colleague also had a bad experience at this restaurant where she was being CHASED OUT right after she finished her meal. Zzz. I wonder how much 'efforts' they really put into all those shits in order to make money. Can't wait to get back to Singapore where the services are MUCH MUCH BETTER.

Jordan is just one station away from Yau Ma Tei, therefore we walked through all the streets before heading back to our hotel.

So many stalls selling crabs!

So so tired from all the walking and bargaining to get my a few pieces of clothes~ We spotted Häagen-Dazs and get one cone each to chill.

Eating ice-cream always makes me happy. I was really quite pissed with the experience at the Australian Dairy Company but this made me appreciate my little red dot even more. Cheers to the end of Day 2 in Hong Kong!!
